Hayley’s Hate Mail

Almost a year before the murder of Andrew Kissel, the real estate developer and accused swindler, his wife Hayley was furious at him. She had already initiated divorce proceedings, though they continued to live in the same house, and her frustrations had been building throughout his legal travails. On May 23, 2005, she vented in an email, a copy of which was obtained by New York magazine. “I JUST HATE HIM!!!!!!” she wrote. “HE IS HORRIBLE, JUST HORRIBLE AND I HATE HIS FUCKING GUTS,” she confided, in terms many a divorcing spouse would understand. “Do you know last night in bed I could actually see myself pummeling him to death,” the email went on, “and just enjoying the sensation of each and every shot…”  Andrew was found stabbed to death earlier this month in the Greenwich Connecticut home he and his wife shared. Greenwich police have interviewed Hayley who is cooperating. According to reports, police are focusing on personnel who worked for the Kissels.
