The June 23 opening picnic for the Glass House in New Canaan is shaping up to be a hot ticket: Agnes Gund, Peter Brant and Stephanie Seymour, Aby Rosen, Richard Meier, and Robert A.M. Stern will all attend. If you’re not going to the VIP party, however, you’re out of luck: The house is 99 percent sold out for 2007. Those willing to pay $500 per head can still get a private tour that focuses on Philip Johnson’s extensive art and sculpture collection, on landscaping, or on preservation (lunch included), but everyone else will be encouraged, says the visitors center, to “try 2008.”
