To rescue Jersey’s busted budget, Governor Jon Corzine wants to raise the fare on the state’s three toll roads by 50 percent every four years till 2022. Here’s what trips from Manhattan will cost when he’s done—and the trips back will cost even more, after the Port Authority raises those incoming bridge and tunnel tolls. But there’ll be a bright side to skipping town: At least you’ll avoid Mayor Bloomberg’s approved-by-then congestion fees for the day.
