What should Hillary Clinton do with her time if she finally leaves the campaign trail? “I think she should watch The Office,” said Kate Flannery, who plays the disgruntled alcoholic Meredith on the show, at an NBC party May 13. “But I don’t know if she’d get it, to be honest with you.” Why not? “Steve Carell has quoted Ricky Gervais as saying, ‘If you don’t know a Michael Scott, then you are a Michael Scott,’ ” Flannery said. “She’s unconscious of the way that she’s perceived in many ways, I think. And her attempts to be cool fall a little short.” So Hillary’s a Michael? “Maybe she’s an Angela,” Flannery said. “Or a Jan.”
Would Hillary Get ‘The Office’?
Maybe she’s a Michael Scott.
