At the Bloomberg–Vanity Fair after-party for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Jada Yuan talked to Taye Diggs and his pregnant wife, Idina Menzel, about not playing each other’s love interests on Private Practice.

How do you feel about your wife making out with Tim Daly on Private Practice?
Taye: He deserves it. At least it’s someone I know.

Your husband just said Tim Daly deserves to make out with you.
Taye: Did I say that? No! No! I meant she deserves it. He’s a good-looking man. I know him well.
Idina: You know what? I do deserve it. Because Taye’s always kissing beautiful women on movie sets. About time I got my turn.
Taye: All I’m saying is, at least it’s someone I know. I mean, it gets a little weird because we’re both on the same set.
Idina: Hey, at least I’m happy. That’s all I care about.
