Sunday Funday

(Le) Poisson Rouge
158 Bleecker St., nr. Thompson St.; 212-505-3474
This newish music venue, usually the home to hipster electronic acts, is not the first place that comes to mind when thinking football. But their credentials check out: $10 pitchers of Bud, twelve-foot jumbo screen, free shots every quarter, and, of course, a D.J.-d after-party.

Libation
137 Ludlow St., nr. Rivington St.; 212-529-2153
The past-its-prime nightlife spot unexpectedly comes through with some pretty good deals, including 25-cent wings; $9 beer, Bloody Mary, and mimosa pitchers; and a $30 open bar.

Trinity Pub, Banshee Pub, The Gael
Various locations
All three members of this Upper East Side bar coalition are offering the same deal: $12 pitchers of Bud, a free buffet at halftime, and a free shot anytime a touchdown is scored by either team. To which we say, Air it out, boys!

Water Street Restaurant & Lounge
137 Ludlow St., nr. Rivington St.; 212-529-2153
Water Street's got the requisite cheap beer and wings but, more importantly, also cheap burgers! The two-for-one cheeseburger deal means $12 equals about a pound of meat.

Blue Smoke
116 E. 27th St., nr. Park Ave. South; 212-447-7733
Another classier — or at least more expensive — affair. A $135 ticket for Blue Smoke's Big Game Blowout will get you all-you-can-eat barbecue and an open bar. Tickets here.

Kyotofu
705 Ninth Ave., nr. 48th St.; 212-974-6012
An inevitable, but not encouraged, anti–Super Bowl party. Free cupcakes, half-off sake, and a screening of the food flick Tampopo, a Japanese cult favorite, will lure in the haters.

Leisure Time Bowl
625 Eighth Ave., at 42nd St.; 212-268-6909
Most of the time the actual game is a letdown anyway, so why not bowl through the whole thing? Leisure Time has 30 flat-screens on hand and is offering a free beer tower with every two-hour lane rental.
