Heidi Klum’s Halloween Bash

This year Klum was forced to postpone her now-legendary Halloween bash due to the hurricane. But the spooky must go on, and go on it will this Saturday, at her Haunted Holiday Party, where a select few fans with super-deep pockets can bid on tickets to hang with her fashionable friends. Proceeds benefit the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts of The American Red Cross, and bidding information can be found here.

The release party for the Tell Your Friends Concert film will also double as a benefit party for Sandy. The lineup includes Wyatt Cenac, Aaron Freeman (formerly Gene Ween), Christian Finnegan, Rob Parvonian, and Victor Varnado, who directed the film. Tom Scharpling and Ted Leo Present a Very Special Hurricane Benefit Show

Radio host and TV writer/producer Sharpling and musician-about-town Ted Leo present a night of tunes and funnies with all proceeds donated to Occupy Sandy and Staten Island’s Siller Foundation Relief Fund. On the lineup: John Hodgman, Chris Elliott, [Ambassador] Andrew WK, Jon Benjamin, Julie Klausner, and more, including an auction, and special guests (but not an auction of special guests. Yeah Yeah Yeahs

New York’s own Yeah Yeah Yeahs headline a hurricane relief at the intimate Williamsburg venue, with opener Higgins Waterproof Black Magic Band (featuring Tunde Adebimpe of TV on The Radio). Tickets, two per person at $75-$100, will be available starting Tuesday, November 27 at noon. All proceeds benefit surf-based non-profit Waves for Water’s Sandy relief efforts.

4 Artists 1 Cause: A Benefit Concert For Sandy Relief Efforts

Joy Behar’s Comics With Benefits

This lady is never short on opinions–or funny– and in this benefit event she’ll be joined by like-minded friends. On the roster: Andy Borowitz, winner of the first National Press Club award for humor, Emmy-Award winning actress Judy Gold, Mario Cantone and John Fugelsang. Proceeds benefit both the UJA-Federation of New York, which provides cash assistance, temporary housing, food, and far more to folks struggling in the aftermath of the storm, and Rebuilding Together. Esquire magazine will host a weekend of food-centric pop-up events at the Bowery Hotel, ranging from watching football with former Giant Tiki Barber to a dinner prepared by an all-star team of chefs, including Tom Colicchio, Michael White, and Christina Tosi. Tickets range from $35 to $275, and all proceeds will be donated to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City’s relief efforts.

The funbars.com establishments across the city—Little Town NYC, Village Pourhouse, SideBar, and Hudson Terrace—will be donating 10 percent of the proceeds from any party booked until December 1. Additionally, SideBar and Village Pourhouse are opening their doors to guest bartenders who will donate their tips toward Sandy relief.

Wine School with Bedell Cellars and Brooklyn Kitchen

North Fork winery Bedell Cellars comes to Williamsburg for a six course dinner at Brooklyn Star paired with five of their wines. The tasting dinner is presented by The Brooklyn Kitchen, and Tickets are $100, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Sandy relief.

New York Distilling Co. Celebrates One Year

On December 5 The NY Distilling Co .and it’s sister bar The Shanty turn one year old. It’s also the anniversary of Repeal Day. Yay! Celebrate with Night Distilling, where a finishing run of rye whiskey will be distilled to observe and taste (the first time ever open to the public), hot punches, the chance to win a personalized barrel of rye, and, most importantly, fundraising for The Brooklyn Recovery Fund. Each partygoer will also receive a 375 ml bottle of unaged rye. Tickets, $125, can be bought here.

Sidebar Hosts Rockaways Guest Bartenders

From November 30th through the holiday season, every Friday night SideBar will host guest bartenders from the hard-hit Rockaways who’s home bars remain closed and are unable to work. The guest bartenders will take home all of their tips and 10% of the bar.

Brooklyn Tap House

As part of their “Help Rebuild Brooklyn” campaign, the Kings County bar will donate $1.00 from every beer sold to the Red Cross Hurricane Sandy Relief. You can also donate needed items like baby food, diapers, canned goods, clothing, and feminine hygiene products during business hours.

Hot Bread Almacen

Over the course of this week, Hot Bread Almacen in Harlem is offering its customers bread at “pay-what-you-can” prices. The nonprofit, which provides jobs and economic empowerment for the community, is itself holding a fund-raiser for its programs on Thursday, and is also offering bread donations to Sandy-relief organizations that are able to pick up the bread at Hot Bread Kitchen; please e-mail Rachael Nemeth (rachael@hotbreadkitchen.org) for details.

Cubana Social

Cubana Social has joined forces with the Hester Street Collaborative to assist the Lower East Side and Chinatown’s elderly and disabled residents stuck in housing developments by doubling as a drop-off point for donations (food, water, batteries, flashlights, generators). In addition to continuing to serve food, Cubana Social will be donating a portion of sales and tips to Sandy relief. Cubana Social is is open daily from 10 a.m. to midnight and until 3 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Red Hook Vendors
The Red Hook Vendors are raising money to deliver 1,000 meals to temporarily displaced residents of the neighborhood on November 10. In order to do this, they need to raise $4,800 by Saturday. Click here to donate.

Both the Park Avenue and Meatpacking District Gansevoort hotels will offer a complimentary rooftop drink to guests donating non-perishable goods worth $10 or more to the relief effort during their stay.
