Comedians turn lemons into lemonade with a night of sketches cut for time, jokes cut by censors, and ideas that just didn’t make the cut. With a live reading of a TV pilot starring Janeane Garofalo, who will never be rejected in our hearts.

Bob's Burgers Live

There's nothing cartoonish about the way this animated television show translates live onstage. The night features stand-up sets by the comedic stars, including Kristin Schaal (Louise Belcher), Eugene Mirman (Gene Belcher), and John Roberts (Linda Belcher); a table read of a script in character; and audience Q&As.

Three days of musings on the state of women in the business of funny, including career-building panels, sketch and musical comedy performances, and stand-up sets by Aparna Nancherla, Michelle Wolf, Pheobe Robinson (Littlefield, Friday), Ophira Eisenberg (Littlefield, Saturday), and Judy Gold (The Bell House, Sunday). Passes are available for single days or the whole festival, should you want to immerse yourself.

Hosted by Steve Schirripa, the star-studded evening features names like Louis CK, Bill Burr, John Oliver, and J.B. Smoove, joining forces for the Garden of Dreams foundation, which benefits children facing a range of obstacles including poverty, homelessness, and illness. Tickets start at $50.
