Former Alder and wd~50 chef Jon Bignelli helms the grub at this seafood, cocktail, and everything-else bar, where on weekdays you can get two-to-four oysters for $1, and $1 off drafts. While you’re there, try other food and drink offerings such as asparagus with smoked egg yolk or a fancy toast with smoked shrimp and pickled ramp.

King Bee

This bar in the restaurant Beauborg in Le District, a new French-food dining complex in the Financial District, serves $1 oysters from 4 to 6 p.m. daily. Stop by the chocolate-mousse bar, candy shop, or the fromagerie in the market section to pick up a treat for later.

The team from Smith & Mills is behind this chic seafood-focused restaurant where every weekday you can slurp down $1 oysters from 3 to 6 p.m. Too lazy to order individually? There’s a special for that: a dozen oysters and a bottle of wine for $50. Choose from a bottle selection including Picpoul Maris, Rose Santier, Cremant D’Alsace, and La Perlette sparkling rosé.

Pier A Harbor House

Down by the water, and featuring impressive views of the Statue of Liberty, the Long Hall at Pier A offers an “1886 Special,” named for the year the pier first opened. Get eight oysters and a pint of Guinness or Brooklyn Brewery Long Hall Lager for — you guessed it — $18.86. This one’s daily, because oyster-lovin’ doesn’t stop when the workweek does.

Inventive cocktails from Pamela Wiznitzer (formerly of the Dead Rabbit) are not the only things you can slurp down at this Upper East Side lounge. Every weekday afternoon, score $1 oysters from its locally sourced raw bar. Have them with some housemade pickles ($8), or add them on to the Tower of Local, Seasonal Seafood ($75). Because, hey, you’re worth it.

At this new Italian eatery (conveniently near Penn Station for you commuters), you’ll find $1 bivalves from 4 to 7 p.m. daily. There’s also an entire martini menu to pair with said oysters, or classic cocktails for under $10.

The Wayfarer

While some of us dream of long weekends, those off Fridays get rewarded at the Wayfarer (ain’t that how life goes?). For its “Summer Friday” special, get a dozen house-selected East and West Coast oysters (usually $3 to $3.25 each), plus a bottle of Vie Vite rosé, all for $55. While you’re there, try the regular menu’s excellent braised octopus or lamb tagliatelle. You’ve got all day.
