How did you get into the mindset of a fox to tape your voice for this film? “I didn’t really prepare. I was really sick when I made this. And I had a deeper resonance in my voice than I do right now, and I think that helped.” So you didn't think foxlike thoughts? “No, it was a virus.” —Meryl Streep

What was your inspiration for making the animals dance a lot in this film? “You know the Charlie Brown Christmas specials? You know how they danced in those?
