   There’s no better place to let loose than at these downtown troublemakers’ notorious parties. This weekend’s Edwardian-themed party brings a live performance by the Omaha rockers the Faint, go-go dancers galore, and, most assuredly, the usual outlandish costumes.

2. 2. “One Step Beyond”

   May 25 at Rose Center for Earth and Space

   The Hayden Sphere and its environs make for a really outstanding party backdrop. Sweat it out to an array of techno D.J.’s in the heart of the museum, and then wind down by taking in a mellow live set in the quieter space downstairs.
