  1. 1. “This Is Burlesque”

    Opens October 18 at Corio Supper Club

    The cheeky downtown drag king Murray Hill hosts this newish venue’s run of weekend shows, featuring the tap-dancing Helen Pontani (performing solo and with her in-demand group the World-Famous Pontani Sisters), Mark Morris–trained “tassel twirler” Peekaboo Pointe, and others.

  2. 2. “Balls!”

    October 19 at Collective: Unconscious

    Ribald local act Pinchbottom Burlesque (which appeared in this magazine’s “Best of New York” this year) presents a themed night of striptease, dancing, and comedy courtesy of performers Nasty Canasta, Jonny Porkpie, Clams Casino, and their saucy cohorts.
