This Bavarian-style tavern feels as if it had been plucked from some dreamy old-world burg and gently placed among the steel and concrete of industrial Gowanus. Surrounding the wraparound bar are rows of comfortable wooden benches and booths that allow for cozy, private conversing. The selection of fourteen beers on draft changes frequently, but includes standards like Spaten Lager and local specialties like Sixpoint Masons Wheat, all of which pair nicely with the meat-oriented Hungarian menu of made-on-premises sausage, spicy goulash, and decadent beer croutons.
