Manhattans
769 Washington Ave., nr. St. Johns Pl., Prospect Heights; 917-349-8922
Tracy Westmoreland, who ran Hell’s Kitchen’s famously louche Siberia until 2007, brought his trademark combination of cheap domestic beers and thunderous jukebox rock to Prospect Heights last month. Aside from taping up some artwork on the brick walls and newspapering the windows, Westmoreland barely renovated the soaring space formerly occupied by the Ripple Bar. Nostalgic Siberia fans will feel very much at home with the busted pleather banquettes, brawny, basic cocktails, and the sole draft beer, Pabst. If the gate’s up, the party’s going till 4 a.m.
