Wood is so prominent at Dram—from the walls to the floors to the spoon that latches the bathroom door—you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d stumbled into a particularly romantic garden shed in the Catskills. The design is an effective intimacy-inducer, drawing couples and groups of friends for some of the city’s most meticulously crafted cocktails. Old-school barman Thomas Chadwick offers a tight list of $10 drinks, with the Done Gun Buck (Siembra Azul Blanco tequila, ginger, lemon, Galliano, and Cocchi Americano) the best among them.
