Brooklyn Tap House
590 Myrtle Ave., nr. Classon Ave., Bed-Stuy; 917-202-1801
Summering in Bed-Stuy is not only an actual possibility but an attractive one courtesy of this vast beer hall made better by a huge, enclosed patio. The outdoor space, which is roughly the same size as the indoor one (where the flat-screens are always tuned to sports), is stocked like any Fourth of July–ready backyard should be, with a fire pit, picnic tables, tiki torches, and games like shuffleboard, foosball, and cornhole. Plus the 44 beers on tap, including Empire Cream Ale and Left Hand Milk Stout, are $6 a piece, making 3 p.m. drinking all the more fun.
