Tenacity, attention to detail, and balancing the risks of litigation against the benefits of a negotiated settlement, are keystones of the practice for family law firm Bodnar & Milone LLP.

Founding partners Peter Bodnar and Lydia Milone have instilled in the firm's attorneys the need to be proactive. All five lawyers approach each case with a hands-on team mentality toward finding the right solution for their clients. "We translate client concerns into concrete solutions, vigorously advocate, and deftly negotiate," says Bodnar.

Bodnar, Milone, and senior counsel Pamela Jenson have been selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2012. All three have also been selected by their peers for New York Super Lawyers, with Bodnar voted to the Top 25 Westchester list. All three are Fellows of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Bodnar and Milone are members of the Executive Committees of the Westchester County Bar's Family Law Section, of which Milone is incoming Section Chair, and the New York State Bar Association's Family Law Section. Together, the senior partners and senior counsel offer more than 80 years of matrimonial law experience. The firm prides itself on the level of responsiveness it provides to clients. "We shepherd our clients through the process, working with them to achieve a result tailored to their unique situation," says Milone.

Through their memberships on various committees and lecturing for the state and county bar associations and other local family law organizations, Bodnar and Milone are committed to the ongoing efforts of the judiciary and members of the Bar to improve the judicial system and the practice of family and matrimonial law.
