Established in 1917, Friedman, Levy, Goldfarb & Green, P.C. has become one of the premier personal injury and medical malpractice law firms in New York City. Managing partner Ira H. Goldfarb notes: “The fact that the firm has been in continuous operation for more than 90 years is a testament to our dedicated client base and the good work that we’ve done on their behalf.”

Goldfarb and the firm’s senior partner Robert A. Levy have collectively served the firm for nearly 70 years. Both attorneys have been AV® Preeminent™ rated by Martindale-Hubbell® and are considered experts in the personal injury field. They are joined at the firm by partners Charles E. Green, who has developed a reputation as a skilled negotiator and a formidable trial lawyer, and Sam Rosmarin, one of the premier medical malpractice litigators in the civil justice system.

“Personal injury is not a repeat business, but because of our consistent success and the work we’ve done in the past, we still get calls from former clients who stay in touch and recommend us to their friends, families and neighbors. This multigenerational commitment to our firm from clients and referring attorneys represents the strongest endorsement a firm can receive.”

Over the years the firm has become known for successfully handling the most difficult cases. Indeed, the firm has won a number of precedent-setting results, including million-dollar and multimillion-dollar recoveries at the trial level and appellate decisions that have made law in the State of New York. Some of the firm’s recent victories include a $4.98 million verdict on behalf of a client in a motor vehicle accident case and a $20 million verdict for a client in a medical malpractice case.

“Our clients come to us with big problems and it’s always very satisfying to be able to restore their hope by making their problems our problems. When our client’s case is concluded, we want them to feel that they were treated with dignity and respect and that they were well taken care of.”
