2012 marks the Twentieth Anniversary of the Law Firm. We are proud to have instilled in each and every member of our Law Firm a work ethic and commitment that is of the highest standards. Our office has successfully represented thousands of innocent accident victims, recovering hundreds of millions of dollars in our pursuit of justice.

The Partners, Andrew Levine and Howard Raphaelson were recently honored by appointment to the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the preeminent association for Personal Injury Litigators in the State.

This appointment reflects peer recognition of Raphaelson and Levine’s; leadership in the Personal Injury Legal Community, continuous support of laws that reflect the needs and rights of accident victims, dedication to advocating premier legal representation and an active involvement in charity and community projects.

Last year Raphaelson & Levine recovered more than Twenty Five Million Dollars for our clients from construction companies, building owners, homeowners, manufacturers of defective products, Medical Doctors, hospitals and reckless automobile drivers.

These lawsuits are the strong voice of New York citizens, sending the message that “New Yorkers expect safety and we will hold you accountable if your negligent behavior causes severe and serious physical and economic injury.”

It is in this spirit that we are deeply committed to our work and making a positive difference for injured accident victims in New York. The Firm is involved in many charities, most notably a sponsor of the Long Island 2 day Race which raise awareness and money for Cancer research in the New York Area.

In 2011 and 2012 the Law Firm has successfully resolved many significant cases and several multiple seven figure awards and settlements that involved construction sites and municipal liability. Most recently we resolved a confidential Seven Figure settlement against a local municipality that neglected a rotted and dangerous roadside tree. The municipality was aware of the trees condition, but did not properly care for and remove it. As a result of the Municipality’s failure to care for and remove the tree it collapsed without warning on a car driving along the highway and almost killed the driver and a passenger.

In another high profile action against a municipality, The City of New York was held accountable for the false arrest of a Board of Education Custodian. This admired and respected career school worker with an impeccable reputation and background was falsely accused and jailed without any evidence or probable cause of sexually assaulting a school child. We secured a half-million dollars and in the process exposed the abuse committed against this innocent person.

Raphaelson & Levine’s commitment to New York and being the Voice of the injured is an Honor that we are profoundly grateful to have. There is no accident victim in New York that we will not extend the entire resources of the firm to help in a time of need.
