A cutting-edge law firm specializing in the areas of Personal Injury, Real Estate, Commercial Transactions and Criminal Defense, Ferro, Kuba, Mangano, Sklyar, P.C. is unique in that the organization of its well respected Personal Injury Department is high-volume, yet structured like a boutique firm. Each case that comes through the two decade-old firm’s doors is given an in-depth analysis and evaluation to make sure that every aspect of the case is considered for its potential worth. Cases are micromanaged by various subsets of attorneys and staff such as the pre-litigation unit, litigation unit, and claims supervisors, and every aspect of the claim is worked to its fullest extent in order to maximize the value of the case. Partners and staff hold regular round tables to discuss the firm’s current roster of cases at their various stages, so that no source of value goes overlooked or unrealized. If a case must go to verdict in order to ensure the most money for their clients, then that’s exactly where it goes.

The firm’s attorneys also don’t shy away from the tougher cases that come their way; their confidence in their skills and experience is more than enough to carry them through the less clear-cut cases where people are nonetheless truly injured as the result of someone’s else’s negligence. “We pride ourselves on our enthusiasm and diligence in developing a theory of negligence and to work to creatively adapt and apply the law to fit our particular case and fact pattern,” says partner Willam V. Ferro.

Even on their busiest days, the firm’s eight attorneys and the staff members feel it is important to give back to the communities in which the majority of their clients live, of which they consider themselves a part. In the past year alone, the firm has distributed 250 flu vaccines to migrant day laborers, given backpacks and school supplies to children that would not have had them otherwise, as well as ran toy and turkey collection drives for those in need.

In addition to its personal injury practice, the firm’s commercial real estate practice has also seen quite a bit of success, having closed thousands of financial and real estate transactions involving real estate conglomerates, shopping centers, commercial buildings and other related concerns. Recently, Ferro, Kuba, Mangano, Sklyar, P.C. has closed deals involving Hampton Jitney, The Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Goodyear tire, the complex acquisition of a New York State licensed Insurance Company by another insurer, and a forty million-dollar facility secured by a loan portfolio of Chicago Taxi medallions.
