The Bonina Family has been representing the victims of serious personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death for over 50 years. Partners and siblings John Bonina and Andrea Bonina lead a team that fights for their clients with a passion and determination that has cemented the firm’s stellar reputation and resulted in the firm obtaining more than $200 million in combined settlements and verdicts in the last 10 years alone.

The Boninas lead a five-lawyer team that has more than 80 years of collective experience. Four of the attorneys have worked together for nearly two decades. They remain selective about the cases they accept so that they can provide all clients with personalized attention.

At Bonina and Bonina, the key to getting the best results for their clients starts with understanding their struggles. “We represent people whose lives have been turned upside down, and we take our responsibility to our clients very seriously. We know our clients are counting on us to improve their lives, and we view that as a sacred trust”Andrea Bonina says.

“When we prepare for trial, we prepare as if someone’s life depends on it, because for our clients it does,” says John Bonina. John, who is the Senior Trial Attorney at Bonina & Bonina, P.C., attributes the firm’s consistent track record to its work ethic and use of technology in the courtroom.

Even more notable than Bonina’s track record is the speed with which juries have decided in his clients’ favor: in one recent case where Bonina achieved a seven-figure verdict, the jury came back with its decision in less than 30 minutes; in another significant verdict, they came back in 21 minutes. The swiftness of these decisions has much to do with Bonina’s riveting courtroom presentations, which weave evidence and testimony into a compelling story for the jury.

Bonina’s most recent multimillion-dollar result was a $2.5 million verdict in a botched colonoscopy case. His success can be traced to his extensive pretrial preparation, his withering cross-examination, and his ability to get the jury to empathize with his client. “I will never allow myself to be at an information or preparation disadvantage in the courtroom,” he notes.
