Rita Wasserstein Warner is a senior partner at Warner Partners, P.C., a midtown firm specializing in family law and commercial litigation. She has been an active matrimonial practitioner for more than 25 years and has an AV® Preeminent™ rating from Martindale- Hubbell®, that company’s highest rating.

Ms. Warner has handled a wide range of matrimonial matters—at trial and on appeal— and has appeared on television and radio on family law matters. Among others, she has represented Liza Minnelli, Princess Yasmin Aga Khan, Ilona Staller (the Italian pornography star turned Member of Parliament) in her much publicized custody fight with her then-husband, artist Jeffrey Koons, and Patricia Duff, in her divorce and custody fight with her then-husband, financier Ron Perelman.

Ms. Warner is a frequent lecturer and moderator at Bar Association forums and CLE programs. She is a member of the Board of the New York County Lawyers’ Association and previously co-chaired the Matrimonial Law Section of that organization. She is Co-Chair of the Matrimonial Committee of the New York State Bar Association International Section and is on the Board of the Women’s Rights Division of the Human Rights Watch.
