Sondra I. Harris, founder of the Harris Law Firm, a Long Island–based firm, is a family law practitioner with more than 30 years of experience. Ms. Harris is committed to understanding and solving the difficult financial and emotional issues of divorce. Her approach is to find practical, cost-effective solutions to these complex problems. Her practice covers all phases of family law, including divorce, custody, support and adoption, as well as pre-nuptial, cohabitation and assisted reproductive technology agreements. Ms. Harris has lectured and published articles throughout the country and in Canada. She has been quoted in Forbes and USA Today and was named a “legal eagle” by the Long Island Pulse Magazine. She was Chair of the ABA Alternative Families Committee and was a member of the governing council of the ABA Family Law Section.
