Grogins’ diverse law practice includes representation in a variety of misdemeanor and felony criminal cases; representing clients in criminal appeals in the State of Connecticut Appellate Court and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals; successful defense in capital cases where the state initially sought the death penalty, and recovering large financial settlements and verdicts for injured plaintiffs in various personal injury claims with a focus on automobile accidents and products liability.
Grogins is an elected state representative in the Connecticut General Assembly, serving on the Legislature’s Judiciary Committee. Grogins has co-sponsored and supported laws which curtail human trafficking, strengthen penalties for domestic violence, and enhance and safeguard the procedures for eyewitness identification.
