Karen D. McGuire is the senior partner in the Huntington, New York based law firm of McGuire Condon, PC, a firm concentrating exclusively in the zealous representation of litigants in the area of Matrimonial and Family Law.
With more than twenty (20) years of legal experience in this area, she is recognized among her colleagues, clients and the bench as a fierce advocate and accomplished litigator. She understands the often distressing challenges facing clients in litigation and is passionate about alleviating those stressors.
Ms. McGuire was appointed to the prestigious New York State Matrimonial Commission by the Hon. Judith Kaye, which commission submitted their report to the Chief Judge in February, 2006 suggesting many changes in the current matrimonial law. She is past President of the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association; is a member of the Matrimonial Bar Association’s Board of Directors; co-chairs the Matrimonial and Family Law Committees; sat on the Bench/Bar Committee in Suffolk County; and is a current member of the Judicial Screening Committee. She has lectured extensively in the area of matrimonial and family law and is a recognized expert in the field. Additionally, Ms. McGuire is a co-founder of Every Child’s Dream, a non-profit organization which provides food for the homeless and underprivileged children in her area.
