Cynthia Nixon will star in a winter production of David Lindsay-Abaire’s Rabbit Hole, about a husband and wife who drift apart after a tragic accident, at the Manhattan Theatre Club. . . . Brooke Shields returns to Broadway in September as Roxie Hart in Chicago, a role she’s currently performing in London. . . . CMJ Music Marathon has announced acts for its 25th-anniversary festival in New York, including Arcade Fire, Dungen, and eighties-hit-covering French band Nouvelle Vague.
