Napoleon Dynamite star Jon Heder will star in Mama’s Boy, a film in which he’ll play a would-be intellectual whose lifestyle is threatened by his mother’s impending marriage. . . . To celebrate its eightieth birthday, the Grand Ole Opry will come to New York for a rare, one-time show at Carnegie Hall on November 14; performers include Alison Krauss, Alan Jackson, Ricky Skaggs, and a host of other country-music A-listers.
