Grammy-winning hip-hop duo OutKast’s new album, Idlewild, which is also the soundtrack for their forthcoming film, My Life In Idlewild, is set for release on December 6. . . . Law & Order impresario Dick Wolf has yet another legal series in the works: Conviction, an hour-long drama that focuses on young criminal attorneys living in, yes, New York City. . . . Production on the big-budget screen adaptation of the hit musical Dreamgirls will kick off in January, under director Bill Condon and featuring Beyoncé Knowles, Jamie Foxx, and Eddie Murphy . . . Proof star Gwyneth Paltrow will team with her director brother Jake on a new film, The Good Night, which chronicles one man’s quest for perfection; Martin Freeman (The Office, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy) will co-star. . . . Jujamcyn Theaters president Rocco Landesman announced he will bring August Wilson’s Radio Golf, the final installment of his epic cycle that included Gem of the Ocean and Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, to Broadway during the 20067 season.
