Even hard-core smokers don’t like eating in a haze of tobacco fumes. So while many pint-size French bistros give the nicotine-addicted free rein, smoking is a much more pleasant experience at Café Loup. The smokers’ domain is a little nook of three small tables up front, positioned far enough away from the rest of the diners to ensure that the nasty habit doesn’t impinge on anybody’s breathing space.
