Even Danny Meyer, a.k.a. Mr. Hospitality, can’t control the unruly throngs who clamor for a plate of ribs, brisket, pork shoulder, and pig snouts. (Last year, all we could get our hands on was a chocolate-chip cookie.) This year, Meyer & Co. promise more pit stations and—thanks to an optional $100 prepaid ’cue card that confers express service—faster lines. Proceeds go to the Madison Square Park Conservancy.
