Veuve Clicquot Dinner for
Charlie Trotter
On September 16, Masa Takayama, Thomas Keller, Nori Sugie, and Gray Kunz each prepare a tasty
dish to celebrate the perfectionist, foie gras–shunning Charlie Trotter—whose long-awaited TWC restaurant is now slated for early 2006—and maybe gently nudge him into speeding it up a
bit ($650 per person;
at Café Gray).

A Thousand Stars
at Per Se
The next evening, the perfectionist, foie gras–loving Keller cooks
a fabulous nine-course dinner for a lucky few at Per Se; a portion of
the $1,000-per-person take will benefit Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
