Two-Game Series

Fall means wild (or farmed “wild”) animals on the menu, and the hunt is on at local restaurants. But don’t worry—the pigeon isn’t the kind you’re thinking of.

1. Brasserie Les Halles Downtown
Wild Game Week extends from November 4 through 11 and features dishes like Scottish-wood-pigeon salad, boar terrine with prune compote, and pheasant two ways (the breast is seared, and the leg stuffed with foie gras).
15 John St., nr. Nassau St.; 212-285-8585

2. Daniel
At Daniel Boulud’s first Fall Game Feast on November 10, the $385 five-course prix fixe includes grouse, partridge, venison, and paired wines—plus a drawing for gifts from bespoke safari outfitter F. M. Allen.
60 E. 65th St., nr. Park Ave.; 212-933-5267
