Saturday Night Live's Robert Smigel -- who created the foul-mouthed Triumph the Insult Comic Dog for Late Night With Conan O'Brien -- just left his Village penthouse rental for a four-bedroom condo in the East Eighties. Smigel and his wife, Michelle, paid about $1.6 million for the place (asking price was $2.1 million). Smigel's broker, Halstead's David Morgan, declined to comment, but we hear it has wide views and a 1,500-square-foot terrace. For him to poop on!
