How uncomfortable are A.P.C. jeans?
Pretty uncomfortable when you first put them on. It’s a strange experience; you try them on and feel like they’re wearing you.
What’s the best way to break
them in?
If you have a really decent bike ride, you can do it within
a matter of days. Otherwise it takes two months.
The wooden floors here are quite uneven. Do people trip a lot?
I haven’t seen any serious injuries. But I caught a pair of sandals on the boards and they split in the middle. I walked around with duct tape on all day; if anyone noticed, they probably just thought it was part of the whole look.
Where else do you shop?
I love Marmalade in the East Village; they have good vintage and really cute prairie dresses.
