Designer Ali Tayar originally made these aluminum candlestick-ashtrays for Waterloo, but the restaurant’s owners figured customers would walk out with them, and only used them for photo shoots. Now the pieces (which are also part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s collection) are finally available for people to buy ($25).
