In With a Bang
PC users with iPod envy can now have their own high-design music toys. The portable, palm-size BeoSound 2 by Bang & Olufsen comes with a 128-megabyte memory chip that holds three to four hours of music (a chip that holds more is available separately) and a ten- to twelve-hour lithium battery ($595).

Tinted Trio
Smith's new Diablo sunglasses come with three pairs of interchangeable lenses. Try the brown and amber tints during the day; pop in the yellow ones for nights about town. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the strategically placed bits of rubber so the specs don't slip. Choose from black, red, army-green, and midnight-blue frames ($109).

Head Case
Nothing's more summery than a cool beach hat, and Patch New York is making this season's best. Fun graphic fabrics, contrast lining, grosgrain trim, and a removable felt flower are just a few of the things we love about them. Choose from four prints: citrus floral, safari, folk, and nautical ($65).

Playing With Fire
Designer Ali Tayar originally made these aluminum candlestick-ashtrays for Waterloo, but the restaurant's owners figured customers would walk out with them, and only used them for photo shoots. Now the pieces (which are also part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection) are finally available for people to buy ($25).

Check Mate
Baby X's new cotton blankets are machine-washable and come in several gingham combinations: green with orange ruffle trim, pink with green, blue with pink, and orange with blue. No kids? We've seen people wrapping their pooches in these, too ($30).
