One hazy day in Vegas, the duo (college roomies, really named Lesley Thompson and Marissa Vitagliano) schemed to create classic accessories with a funky twist. This glam new necklace achieves their goal: its draped design and multicolored beads give the pearl standard a fresh look, and the silk tie lends it a retro feel. Best of all, the necklace goes with everything: you can pair it with a sleek office blazer, slip it over your weekend Connecticut cashmere, or—my favorite—wear it with fishnets and faux fur for that Downtown Mrs. Robinson look.
