I met designer Emily Mills Reed several years ago at a Rhode Island School of Design craft fair. Emily makes very cool felt hats by hand through a multi-step process that, frankly, I think is insane, but with all the mass-produced, not-so-special crap out there these days, I’m so glad people like her still exist. This hat is from her latest collection. It's super funky, and I think it would look best worn while riding a Vespa. (PS—if you have children, check out her adorable line of kids' hats.)
