Down blankets
have never worked for me. Comfy, yes. But way too warm
for three out of four seasons. So, when the Equinox Sleep
System came along, I was skeptical. Down is down, right?
Wrong. Fifth-generation feather expert Daniel Guigui came
up with the brilliant idea of three comforters in one.
One is lightweight for summer, the other is medium weight.
Snap the two together and you've got the plush blanket
needed for those cold winter nights. For those allergy
sufferers among us, Guigui says that the down used in
his bedding goes through a four-cycle washing process,
including enhanced odor removal refinement and sterilization.
The blanket itself, which starts at $179, is encased in
bright white cotton and comes with a bonus down pillow.
Sounds like a dream come true.
