Teen Vogue editor Melissa Liebling Goldberg dodged her mom’s cameo collection for years—until she realized she could turn the antique porcelain pieces into something totally modern. Melissa’s new jewelry line, E. 9th, combines vintage and custom-made cameos with Lucite settings. The results are sometimes futuristic and sometimes retro, with rings sporting ‘70s cartoon cameos and bracelets mixing see-through pink plastic with portraits of Victorian wives. Melissa’s jewelry is so creative, I’ve taken to wearing it with black tanks and jeans just to show it off. If you like dressing simply and accessorizing wildly, this new line is definitely for you.
