If you love fashion but can’t always afford it, pay close attention: This year’s "It" book is now on sale. It’s called Sample, and it’s jammed with original sketches, exclusive photos, and enough style to fill every runway in Bryant Park. The concept is simple: take ten curators—including Alexander McQueen and Brana Wolf—and let them loose with access to 100 international fashion designers. The results are stunning: color stories from Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz, prints by Angela Missoni, a peek inside Tokyo’s Bathing Ape studios, Jeremy Scott’s Hollywood graffiti. Since debuting in May, the book’s sold with the fervor of Stella McCartney’s H&M collection.
