J.Crew has started a very cool “Personalize Your Polo” program. First, go to the site (you’ll have to order via phone later, but all the choices are online). Choose from three polo styles (two short sleeve, one long) and 13 colors. Then pick a “critter” (their version of, say, the Lacoste croc) from a hula girl, pineapple, golf tee, dog, palm tree, lobster, dolphin or your own initials, and what thread color you’d like that critter to be. Three to four weeks later, your customized polo arrives. There’s just one catch: this program is available in men’s sizes only, which I consider a bit of a tragedy.
$10 per logo. Call 800-562-0258 to order, and check jcrew.com for all other details.
