Whether you love her or hate her, you have to respect Martha Stewart as a
businessperson. The woman is on the money with the items she designs
for K-Mart. Here’s the latest—a set of copper-clad cookware for $120.
That’s for a seven-piece set, although from any manufacturer you’d pay
that much just for a lid. Copper is the most efficient conductor of
heat, and each piece is layered with aluminum (also a wonderful conductor of heat)
and stainless steel, just like a lot of those pricier brands. This set
includes a 5-quart Dutch oven, a 9-1/2 inch sauté pan, a 1-4/5 quart
sauce pan and a 1 quart sauce pan, plus three lids (yes, lids count as
pieces in the cookware world). If I didn’t already have more pots than
I needed, I’d be buying these.
$120 at kmart.com.
