Getting things done is a nightmare in this city. The traffic, the crowds, the 2 a.m. phone calls to drop everything and go out—it’s just too much to bear. I like this handy notepad from Knock Knock because it forces me to get organized without making things overwhelming. There are little boxes for “Today,” “Tomorrow,” and “The Rest of Your Life,” so I can plan my shopping list and my future trip to Portugal all at once. And if I know today is totally hopeless? The pad’s got 60 pages, so I can recycle my old list and try to be productive again tomorrow. Or, you know, next month.
