I’m a fiend for smoky eyes, but my long lashes and tendency for midnight dance parties don’t mix—by morning, my cheeks and under-eyes are smeared with thick black streaks. This would be great if I was gunning for the Courtney Love look, but alas, I usually look more like a raccoon than a notorious rock star. My quick-fix? She Laq from Benefit, a non-toxic sealant that protects eyeliner, mascara, and even lipstick from sliding away. The bottle comes with four different brushes for lashes, lips, and eyes, and takes about ten seconds after application to dry. Now my eyes stay perfect until the next morning (when I scrub with soap and water before finally heading to bed).
$24 at Sephora, multiple locations, sephora.com.
