In the biggest European debut since Helmut Lang, Maison Martin Margiela has opened its first Stateside store (803 Greenwich St., nr. Jane St.; 212-989-7612) housing the cult Belgian designer’s work, like a jacket made of wigs and a necklace of chandelier pieces.
Now you can get Be & D handbags, Rag & Bone, and Neil Barrett in one place: Denise Williamson has opened a store, 48 Hester (48 Hester St., nr. Essex St.; 212-473-3493), dedicated to her showroom’s brands. And J.J. Marco (1070 Madison Ave., nr. 80th St.; 212-744-3202) will showcase a swank selection of fine jewelry.
