The days are getting longer and warmer, and that can only mean one thing: the approach of sandal season. The right pedicure can make all the difference between looking neat, pampered, and polished and looking like you spent the winter training for the marathon in combat boots. The following salons and spas have agreed to offer loyal readers pedicure services at the reduced rate of just $25 through Memorial Day, provided you mention New York when you make your reservation and bring this page with you to your appointment. And remember, you're not the only one who appreciates a little luxury -- so please, tip generously.

The Away Spa & Gym at the W Hotel is a great place to splurge on luxe treatments after your pedicure, like the Citrus Firming Body Polish, a scrub-and-massage treatment with essential oils and aromatherapy ($100). Offer is valid only on weekdays.

D.esse Spa's hourlong pedicure includes your choice of peppermint, tea-tree, or rosemary foot soak, as well as a mint-cream massage. While you wait for your nails to dry, book yourself a Ginger Rosemary Full Body Scrub for just $65.

If the weather's good, ask to have your Antonio Prieto pedicure done in the relaxing garden. It's also offering a reduced rate of $10 (normally $20) for all haircuts done by the salon's assistants, and has thrown in a $35 blow-dry (normally $50) for the duration of this deal. Offer not valid on weekends.

A trip to the Helena Rubinstein Beauty Gallery will earn you a 30-minute pedicure with one of its much-in-demand miracle-workers. While you're there, check out the new "Art of Spa" mind-and-body treatments like the 60-minute Relaxing Body Ritual ($130).

Karen Wu is offering its special pedicure-and-Chinese-acupressure treatment, so once the polishing's done, you can expect some massaging to complete the job. Choose from a wide variety of treatments for further Eastern-inspired indulgence.
