Rocks Around The Clocks: Anne Klein New York's diamond-encrusted watches.
(Photo: Peter Berson) |
Watches with diamond bezels are all the rage, and that extra bling doesn’t come cheap. But if you’re on a non–P. Diddy budget, Anne Klein New York’s sparkly styles may be just the ticket: Not only are the colored faux-crocodile bands very on-trend and perfect for showing off a midwinter tan, but those glistening goodies around the face and on the dial are the real thing (38 diamonds on the pink and blue models, 41 on the black). The stones are relatively subtle, and the watches themselves, though a bit large—the pink one measures about 11⁄4 inches square—are classic in style and not gaudy. They’re perfect for making a fashionably late entrance. ($350 at Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s.)
