If diving through the racks at the Barneys Warehouse Sale is your sport of choice, a weekend spent at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets' 220 stores will feel like the shopping Olympics. Just an hour and a half north of the city, the center looks more like Colonial Williamsburg than like an Orange County mall. Anchors like Neiman Marcus Last Call satisfy urban dwellers' need for bulk purchasing, while the aesthetes can delve into the Prada outlet (don't be fooled: It's inexplicably called the Space store) as well as Versace, and Marc Jacobs, where the price tags are marked down 25 to 65 percent. Refuel at Stone Gate Bed & Breakfast, just two miles down the road, where proprietors Gillian and Robert Switala offer a bargain weekend rate for Woodbury visitors. Each room in the Victorian inn comes with a working fireplace and overlooks the foothills of the Catskills.
DETAILS Stone Gate B&B, 914-928-2858 (doubles start at $125); Woodbury Common, 914-928-4000.
