1 A Gilligan's Island hat. You can buy them on Canal Street in a thousand different fabrics -- Burberry knockoffs, florals, everything.
2 A zip-front hooded sweatshirt. Kmart's is sort of down-and-dirty -- you can roll it in a ball when you're sunning. Kids' sizes are the best.
3 Gorp. I make my own with peanuts, raisins, and sunflower seeds. Nix the chocolate because it melts all over the place.
4 Platform flip-flops. We make them; so do J.Crew and Old Navy.
5 John Frieda Blond Hair Wax. I don't wash my hair or even rinse it after the beach -- I just put a lot of product in to make it shiny.
